In the last project I shared, I was discovering how to achieve a crayon look using RenderMan Stylized Looks. Which led to this whale render which seemed at the time it was close enough to the look I wanted of an actual crayon look. 

Working with Stylized Looks more each day showed me that I can push further and even simplify my original shading technique. The latest iteration shows this better.

The scene below is lit with a single distant light and a single material for the whole scene. The model is a stock model purchased from CgTrader.
